Goodbye Casey Paul!

The week before Thanksgiving the LPO North Valley farm manager, Casey Paul, turned to the farm crew with a little smile and said, "do you guys realize how much you're gonna miss me?"

Seeing as the majority of the guests at his goodbye party were dressed in full "Casey Paul-Garb"- complete with plaid shirts, baseball caps, and enormous beards, chances are that no one had quite realized how much of a loss Casey's departure will make in the LPO team. One thing's for sure though, he's left very big shoes for his successors. During his toast to Casey, even Farmer Monte laughingly reflected, "I had to hire four of you clowns in Casey's place just to keep things running smoothly...." Monte's good-humored remark was laughed at and taken with a grain of salt only by the newer members of the LPO farm crew as they gear up for the next big growing season.

As for Casey, the man with two first names, after three years of hard work and dedication has taken off into the wild yonder to start his own organic farm. He and his wife, Heidi, are even now scouring the country in search of their next home. We wish them all the luck in the world and hope that someday he'll disclose the location of his future farm-to-be so that we can send him all our dysfunctional interns to be whipped into shape!
